2016 Expression of Interest
The selection of food represented at Surfing The Coldstream Festival represents multicultural culinary influences provided by local businesses and aims to offer fresh, healthy lunch and dinner options.
Live Prawn Production Inc. expects over 3,000 festival-goers to pass through the site at Flinders Reserve above Main Beach Yamba. The Food Village will run on Saturday 15 October with performances from 12 midday to approximately 10:00pm. Limited sites are available. Stallholders must be on site by 9:00am.
Our intention is to have a "zero waste" event aimed at maintaining high environmental standards. Consequently food stalls are to use packaging and cutlery that are biodegradable (plant based packaging) or reusable (crockery that is washable). Products that are outside of this requirement will not be permitted to be sold. We have wholesale rates on BioPak compostable packaging and are happy to pass these savings onto you. Stall holders are requested to separate their waste and to take it offsite for responsible disposal.
Please contact Gina Lopez on 0423 325 281 or firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss your packaging and cutlery needs or if you have any queries regarding waste management.
Site rental fees start at $180 for a 3m x 3m footprint. Variations are based on size and location, subject to availability. Site power is available on request for a small fee.
Applications close on Friday 2 September. Successful applicants will be notified by Friday 9 September.
Please note that all mobile food sellers must be registered with the NSW Food Authority and have Clarence Valley Council approval (contact us for a form, if required).
Each stall must have a person working that has their Food Safety Supervisor (FSS) Certificate.
